Strategic alliancesBAU and the
Fraunhofer Building Innovation Alliance launched a strategic alliance for BAU 2011. This cooperation, between
the world´s leading trade fair for architecture, materials,
systems and Germany´s foremost building research institution, is
intended to be a long-term partnership. The Fraunhofer Building
Innovation Alliance supports BAU with its expertise and its network
– and vice versa. At BAU 2011, the Fraunhofer Building Innovation
Alliance – in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry of
Transport, Building and Urban Development – and BAU put on the
special show entitled 'Intelligent Building'. At BAU 2013 the
Fraunhofer Building Innovation Alliance is organising a top-quality
special show on the latest trends from building practice and research.
The successful and long-standing partnership with
ift Rosenheim, the leading institute for window technology, is also being expanded
into a long-term strategic cooperation. This involves intensifying the
collaboration at national and international level, in particular in the
form of coordinated marketing measures. In particular the exhibitors in
the window and door segment will benefit from an enhanced media profile
in Germany and abroad.
International alliancesThe alliance with the trade fair '
TURKEYBUILD Istanbul' and Turkey's Building Information Centre (YEM) raises the profile of
the BAU brand in Turkey. The partnership with YEM affects in particular
joint marketing support and a presence at each other´s press
conferences and in advertising. In April 2013, for example, BAU will for
the fourth time, be the exclusive German trade-fair partner at
'TURKEYBUILD Istanbul' organised by YEM.
One alliance with above all international importance is the alliance with the
Builder's Association of India (BAI), in place since BAU 2011. The
Builder's Association of India is the leading trade association in India´s building industry.
Through coordinated marketing measures, the aim is to enhance the
profile of BAU and its exhibitors in the growth market of India.
